This year’s Osaic ConnectED National Conference in Orlando was an unforgettable experience for the Mirus Planning Team! We enjoyed both soaking up the sun and the incredible opportunities for collaboration and growth in the financial services industry.

As the Chairman of the National Advisory Board, Chad expertly moderated the Advisor Council Summit fireside chat featuring Greg Cornick, President of Advice and Wealth Management at Osaic. Chad not only provided updates on the councils’ initiatives but also fostered engaging discussions about the future of our industry. His commitment to building a brighter future for financial professionals inspires me every day!
We were fortunate to hear from Nick Saban, whose relentless pursuit of excellence has led him to become the only coach in history to win seven college football national titles. His insights on leadership, resilience, and teamwork were both motivating and applicable to our own careers. Chad even seized the opportunity to take a photo with him — a memorable moment for all.
Chad recorded a podcast episode alongside Heather Hawthorne, Vice President of Content Experience at Osaic, and Tyler Mahoney, Senior Vice President of Channel Strategy & Operations at Osaic. While I was busy capturing the excitement with my camera and missed the live discussion, I was thrilled to hear about the valuable insights shared. I’ll be sure to catch the replay to learn from their expertise!

Chad and Brian Hartmann, Partner and Certified Financial Planner™ at Granite Bridge Wealth Management, hosted an enlightening breakout session titled “Adapting to Change: Evolving Careers and Practices in Wealth Management.” Chad’s journey over the past 30+ years in the industry continues to resonate, and it was fascinating to discuss how our profession is evolving to meet the changing needs of clients. The ideas shared during this session are sure to influence how we approach our work moving forward.
Finally, the conference provided a fantastic platform to reconnect with familiar faces and establish new relationships. I had an absolute blast dancing at the Block Party, where the vibrant energy and sense of camaraderie made for an unforgettable evening!
Overall, the Osaic ConnectED National Conference was a remarkable event filled with learning, inspiration, and connection. We are already looking forward to next year.
